Since 1993 Atlanta-area restaurants have joined together in raising over $3 million in support of Open Hand’s mission to provide community members with healthy meals and nutrition education. 

On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, thousands of people will choose from a list of participating restaurants and dine out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner knowing that the restaurant is donating a percentage of their bill to help Open Hand continue to provide more than 5,000 nutritious meals each day. Open Hand encourages you to Dine In at participating restaurants or enjoy take-out, curbside pick-up or delivery on April 26, 2023. Traditionally, a day to dine out and do good, thousands of people have dined out for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner knowing that participating restaurants were donating a minimum of 25% of their bill to help Open Hand provide nearly 5,000 nutritious meals daily and empower our neighbors battling chronic disease and disability to live healthier, more independent lives. This year, we are focusing our efforts on joining the community together to “Dine In or Take Out” and do good for the generous restaurant partners that have supported Open Hand over the last three decades. We hope that you will consider making a donation to Open Hand on their behalf. No matter how large or small, funds raised during Dining Out For Life help ensure that our clients – those most vulnerable to this virus – have the meals they need and the peace of mind knowing that we are still here for them during this time of crisis.
