115 restaurants participated in DOFL 2010 to support Open Hand
Thanks to everyone who dined out with clients, friends, family and co-workers for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner at our participating restaurants on Wednesday, April 21st!. Simply by doing so, you enabled our restaurant partners to donate 20% of your bill to Open Hand. Dining Out for Life to benefit Open Hand is our largest annual fundraiser, and helps Open Hand continue to provide freshly prepared, home-delivered meals, nutrition education, coaching and counseling to homebound seniors and individuals who are struggling with chronic, critical or terminal disease in 17 Georgia counties.

It's not too early to register your restaurant for Dining Out for Life '11. By registering now, we'll have a better opportunity to work with you to maximize the success of Dining Out for Life and make it a win-win for both of us! Through our community marketing efforts, we will do everything we possibly can to ensure a great turnout at your restaurant on April 20th.
By registering early, we will also have more time to find the perfect Host of Hosts for your restaurant. Remember, Hosts help drive traffic to your restaurant on the night of the event, inviting friends, co-workers, neighbors and loved ones to join them in support of Open Hand.

You don't have to wait on your Dining Out for Life '11 registration package to arrive -- you can register online right now! The first restaurants to register will be posted on the home page. Again, the earlier we receive your registration, the more of an opportunity we'll have to promote your participation.

Your primary responsibilty would be to invite all of your friends, family and co-workers to dine with you at your restaurant on April 20th. Sounds fun, doesn't it? But wait...there's more. You'll work with the DOFL Team (and other Volunteers) to help ensure that participating restaurants have our complete support before, during and immediately after the event .
